My approach to coaching was shaped not only by my background in public health and clinical care, but also by a deeply personal experience.

During my husband’s lymphoma journey, I discovered functional medicine and saw firsthand how looking at the root causes of health can transform the way we support the body through difficult seasons. That experience strengthened my belief that people deserve compassionate guidance, practical tools, and hope when navigating their own health challenges.

This philosophy was shaped through my own journey as a caregiver.

While helping my husband navigate cancer treatment, I experienced firsthand how complex and overwhelming the health journey can be.

There were moments that required deep grace—for uncertainty, setbacks, and the emotional weight of caregiving. And there were moments that required grit—the determination to keep searching for answers, advocating for better care, and supporting the body’s ability to heal.

During that time, I began to see health differently. I realized how deeply lifestyle, metabolic health, and daily habits influence resilience and overall well-being. I also saw how many people feel lost when trying to navigate their health challenges alone.

That experience became the foundation for Grace & Grit.
